The Intense Games “Summer Sizzler” will be held on Saturday June 16 at Duvall-Rosier Field on the campus of Fairmont State University in Fairmont, WV.

The format will be unlike anything ever seen before. For the 1st time CrossFitters will be placed in a tournament bracket and compete head to head on their way to the finals!

All men will be put in one bracket and all women will be placed in another. Seeding will be based off of your placement in the 2012 Open Sectionals with preference given to the Mid-Atlantic Region. Those that don’t compete in the Open Sectionals are welcome to compete, but they will be unseeded and placed against the top seeds of the event making their road to the finals more difficult, but certainly not impossible.

All 1st round losers will be placed in a consolation bracket and will play it out to its completion to a consolation championship.

Beat your opponent in head to head WODs to move forward! An ultimate test of toughness, durability and competitiveness! All athletes are guaranteed 2 matches.

Work hard and place well in the Open Sectionals (it’s going to mean a lot)!
